Cocktail of the Week
Ginger Mojito
13 February 2012

This week's cocktail is a simple Mojito variant which is absolutely delicious. Instead of charging your Mojito with boring old club soda we've used Stokes stunning 'new' Ginger Beer appropriately named Stoke Ginger Beer.

This ginger beer is so tasty it actually tastes homemade with a lovely vibrant but subtle fresh ginger kick. I guarantee it is the best product on the market and will make your cocktails such as Moscow Mules taste just that much better. Fresh mint and ginger are very good for your digestive system and lime juice is very good for your liver. Sugar is good for energy and alcohol, (in moderation), eases the days tension. Mount Gay Eclipse Silver Rum comes from the world's oldest rum distillery and is completely aged for 2 years making it one of the oldest white rums in the world and one of the smoothest and most complex. So this drink has everything you need.

Ingredients:
60ml Mount Gay Eclipse Silver Rum

30ml Fresh Lime Juice

20ml Sugar Syrup

Fresh Mint Leaves

Stoke Ginger Beer

Method:
Add Mint, Sugar Syrup, and Lime Juice to a tall glass with a good wave of Stoke Ginger Beer. Stir well to extract all flavour but keep mint leaves intact. 3/4 fill glass with ice and add Mount Gay Eclipse Silver Rum. Stir lightly. Top glass with ice and add a wave more soda.

Garnish:
A sprig of mint and fresh lime wedge.
