Southern Comfort "The Spirit of New Orleans" was invented in the heart of the New Orleans famous French Quarter in 1874 by a bartender by the name of Martin Wikes 'M.W' Heron. The recipe is a secret blend of whiskey and over 100 fresh fruit and herb flavours that provide the distinctive smooth-tasting flavour that Soco is renowned for. New Orleans is of course also famous for it's Festive Mardi Gras Celebrations, Jazz and Voodoo Magic. Soco works perfectly in the classic sour cocktail and lime juice instead of lemon helps bring out the orange and spice notes that define the flavour of Soco. The trio of Fee Brother's Bitters works great in any old style cocktail.
